This time, Free Fire will be teaming up with Nailoong, a popular cartoon character from China. Yes, it is officially confirmed that the Free Fire x Nailoong collaboration will happen. What is Nailoong?
Nailoong is a famous Chinese cartoon character. He is a cute and chubby yellow dinosaur who has become really popular through short video series and comics in China. Nailoong is known for his funny personality, positive attitude, and his adventures that are loved by both kids and adults. He has also partnered with big brands like AIXB in China.
Even though he is super famous in China, many Free Fire players from other countries, like India, might not know much about him yet. But trust me, Nailoong is a huge deal in China.
When is the Free Fire x Nailoong Collaboration Releasing?
Right now, the exact date of the release has not been revealed. The collaboration will happen after the OB49 patch update.
OB49 is expected to launch around the end of May or early June 2025.
The collaboration event will appear sometime after the patch, but no specific day has been confirmed yet.
Also, we do not know yet in which servers the Nailoong collaboration will be available first.

Will the Free Fire x Nailoong Collaboration Happen in India?
This is an important topic. As many players know, Free Fire (normal version) was banned in India because of its connections to Chinese servers and companies. Only Free Fire MAX is available in India now.
Since Nailoong is a Chinese character, there is a chance that Garena might skip this collaboration in the Indian server to avoid any political or government issues.
This is just my personal opinion, but based on how Garena handled things after the ban, they have been very careful about what content they release in India. So Free Fire MAX might not get the Nailoong event at all, or it could be changed for Indian players.
Again, nothing is confirmed about this yet. It is just something to think about.
