After a year and a half of delays, new leaks have emerged regarding the potential return of Game India. The Advance Server for the OB48 update has been released, and some leaks regarding Game India have been discovered within it.
What is Game India
Game India is a version of the original Game game. On February 14th, the Indian government banned numerous Chinese apps, including Game. Since then, has operated its Indian operations through Game MAX. However, Game MAX was also removed from the iOS App Store alongside Game, even though it wasn’t explicitly banned. The absence of Game and Game MAX on iOS devices has prevented from running esports tournaments in India.
PUBG, a competitor of Game in the Indian market, was banned about a year before Game. However, PUBG returned to India as a new game called BGMI. After this return, Indian Game players began demanding the unbanning of Game or an Indian version of the game.
On August 31, 2023, announced Game India, featuring new in-game changes and rules. The download was scheduled to begin on September 5, 2023, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni was announced as the brand ambassador.
Game India Postponed
The day before the scheduled release on September 5th, announced a postponement for Game India, stating that further optimization was needed to better tailor the game for the local audience.

Leaks on Game India in Ob48 Advance Server
Indian Game data miners have discovered a new bundle designed with a Game India theme. Items within this bundle, themed around “Thala”, were found in the game files during the OB40 update. After seven OB updates since OB40, has designed a new bundle named “Captain Cool Bundle” for the OB48 patch. The file name for the bundle is “Icon_bundle_male_Cricketguy_48”. Since all Thala-themed items are named “Cricketguy,” it’s confirmed that this bundle will be added to the game in OB48. typically doesn’t add bundles without a plan, so this inclusion suggests that Game India might be released in the OB48 update.
